This is the Elmore’s Corner Midweek Market and we’ve been doing this about two months. We started down here at Elmore’s Corner about a mile away and within a couple weeks we had exceeded the six booths they allowed us to have and so we needed to find another facility and luckily The Grange was kind enough to open their property and so this is our fourth week here at this location and it’s just continuing to grow. You’re watching the Local News Network brought to you by Durango Pizza and Serious Texas Bar-B-Q. We are really wanting to find people that are true local creators, true local marketers, not reselling somebody else’s product, but really this being a maker’s market or someone that is really involved in every aspect of what they do. You can get fresh fruit and produce here. We have a couple vendors that sell frozen meat and so they’re local ranchers that are providing lamb and beef. True local raw honey, where you can get fresh sourdough. It’s such a cute and awesome community we’ve got here. We trade and barter amongst each other and then just offer all of the local goodness to the Four Corners community. One of the great things about this is there’s no weekly fee. And so if you’re just starting out and you’re not wanting to pay $25 or even $100 for a marketing space, this is a great place to come and get to know other vendors and find out just where your product best will serve the community. We’re here every Thursday from 8:00 to 1:00 at 656 Highway 172. So we’re about a mile south of Elmore’s Corner going towards the airport.
